Privacy Policy

01Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information Nitro Hive collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible: enough to run your account, place claims, and take payment, and no more. We do not sell your personal information.

02Information we collect

From Discord, when you sign in. With your permission we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and email address. We use the sign-in to create and secure your account.

Information you give us. This includes credits you buy, claims you place, gifts you send or receive, notification preferences, and, optionally, a Discord account token so the sniper can claim on your behalf.

Collected automatically. To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse we record limited technical data such as a hashed form of your IP address for rate-limiting and audit logging. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

03Your Discord token

If you choose to connect the sniper, the Discord account token you provide is the most sensitive thing we hold, and we treat it that way:

• it is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored;
• it is write-only in the interface — once saved it is never displayed again, to you or anyone else;
• it is used only to claim codes on your behalf and to check whether it is still valid; and
• you can delete it at any time from Settings, which immediately stops the sniper.

04How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

• create your account and keep you signed in securely;
• place claims, manage your Nitro Balance, and process gifts;
• take payment and add purchased credits to your account;
• send the Discord notifications you have opted into;
• show leaderboards and loyalty tiers (which you can opt out of); and
• detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security issues.

05Payments

Payments are handled by third-party processors: Stripe for card payments and Paymento for cryptocurrency. When you pay, your payment details go directly to the processor — we never receive or store your full card number. We keep a record of the order (amount, credits, status, and a provider reference) so we can add your credits and support your account.

06Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies. Session cookies keep you signed in and are stored as secure, HTTP-only cookies that scripts on the page cannot read. A short-lived cookie protects the Discord sign-in against cross-site request forgery. We also use your browser’s local storage for conveniences such as remembering your light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or analytics-tracking cookies.

07How we share information

We share information only where necessary to run the Service:

• Discord, to authenticate you and, if enabled, to deliver notifications and add you to our server;
• payment processors (Stripe, Paymento), to take payment;
• infrastructure providers that host the Service on our behalf; and
• authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

08Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account exists. Some records, such as payment and claim history, are kept longer where we need them for accounting, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Sign-in tokens expire automatically, and your Discord token is removed as soon as you delete it. Gift links expire 30 days after they are created.

09Your rights and choices

You are in control of your data:

• Leaderboard: opt out at any time in Settings to keep your username and totals private.
• Sniper token: add or remove it whenever you like.
• Notifications: turn each Discord notification on or off individually.
• Access and deletion: contact us to request a copy of your data or to close your account. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to correct or restrict how we use it.

10Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit, encryption of sensitive fields at rest, hashed session and refresh tokens, and access controls around administrative tools. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

11Children's privacy

Nitro Hive is not intended for anyone under 13, or under the minimum age required to hold a Discord account where they live. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will remove it.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
